The official 21st ranking was announced at an event sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank and held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. HI Tech Hui team members, along with representatives from other Fastest 50 nominated companies and their guests, attended the three-hour celebration to network, eat and congratulate one another.
Businesses from several Island industries including manufacturing, engineering and plumbing, were among this year’s rankings. Handy Andy Hawaii took the top spot this year with more than 700% growth, climbing over 20 places from last year’s rankings.
To qualify for the Fastest 50 list, potential candidates must have had annual revenues of at least $100,000. Revenue figures were verified by Honolulu-based CW Associates, CPAs, and eligible candidates were ranked based on their two-year percentage revenue growth from 2016 to 2018.
